Less about logos more about labels
People want to be wearing labels but they don't want to be advertising the logo that broadcasts to everyone look what I've bought, says Italian fashion chief executive of Marni. Another Italian design house Salvatore Ferragamo who specialise in silk and leather are attempting to promote the fact that their garments are Made in Italy as being probably more important. Its about understatement of quality and class and not about branding the names around, but some would says that's a rather odd way of looking at brand awareness or maybe the cynical would say its using reverse physcology to promote a brand
